Or: 'Why I love Open Canvas'.
So, I stumbled upon a slew of my old Animorphs books (from four years ago...never did finish the series) and was inspired to draw everyone's favorite Cinnabon eating Andalite.
A few notes; I was never a really big fan of how Ax (and subsequently Andalites in general) were depicted on the covers of the books. I just can't picture that tiny tail blade doing any real lasting damage. It's like cutting yourself with a steak knife versus being hacked apart by a scythe. So I decided that I wanted to do a sort of redesign of Ax...and you have my little avatar Godparent thingy up there to voice my opinion on the matter.
